RTC Jodhpur

Background

This Regional Training Centre of Jodhpur was established in August 1983. Initially the centre was established only as Accounts Training Centre but later on by expanding other activities at the Centre, such as In Service Training Programmes for State, Subordinate and Ministerial Staff Services officers were also assigned to this Regional Centre.From the year 1997 & onwards the training programmes for state service officers were also conducted on the subject like Public Administration, Good Governance, Administrative and Financial Rules, Financial Management, Organizational Behavior etc.A Computer Lab was established in the year 2003. This lab facilitated imparting computer training to officers and other employees of state govt. It helped in imparting training egarding operation of various govt. web portals also.In the year 2005 the Department of Personnel and Training allotted State level Training Programmes to this Centre and the same were conducted successfully. A unit of Centre for Management Studies is also being run at this centre & the Additional Director is the Additional Registrar for the same.

Administration Faculty

At present the Administration of this Regional Training Centre is headed by Additional Director (Insurance) and assittd by Deputy Director (Acctts.). Guest faculty is called to impart training of various subjects.

Expansion & Development of the centre

At present the Regional Training Centre Jodhpur has been allotted 15 Bigha of land in Choukha, Jodhpur. The building work on the site is almost complete. It has two Blocks, one is Administration Block & other is Hostel Block. Hostel Block has approximately 31 Double rooms. In Adm. Block there are 4 classrooms, one computer lab, one conference room, one library & reading room along with chambers for administrative as well as  faculty members. There is one auditorium also in his building. The building is expected to be operational by the end of year 2018-19.
