The Centre for Management Studies (CMS), founded in 1982, is an autonomous body, instituted by various public sector undertakings, with the objective to promote the study of public management systems through education, training, research and consultancy. It has now a long-standing expertise in the field of management training.

The CMS and HCM RIPA jointly undertake training courses for government/public sector undertakings' employees, training modules/material preparation workshops, training of trainers' courses and selective research projects. The Centre is also undertaking Induction Training Programme (ITP) in Jaipur, Udaipur, Bikaner, Jodhpur and Kota divisions to cover regional districts. The ITP scheme is being implemented in association with Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India, New Delhi during current year.
